latte and a bag of beans from Old City Coffee

A latte and a bag of beans from Old City Coffee. A perfect start to a day in the neighborhood. We have many fine coffee shops all within easy walking distance. It’s great to stop at each one on a different day of the week. This is from Old City Coffee on Church Street.

A surprise construction. A spiral offering. So unexpected and delightful. I’m always happy to stumble upon constructions with found objects.

Breakfast

An excellent cup of java. A breakfast pastry.

The beginning of a perfect day.

the river

The wind knotted my hair today. It whistled under my hoodie. I could taste the salt from the water.
