Manned space flight makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck. The end of the shuttle program makes me wonder when there will be another such big idea that will send explorers beyond expected boundaries.

Now that I have my nifty Instagram app I’ve always got a 2 1/4 camera with me. I’ve always loved to shoot square. I’ve begun taking shots each time I walk the neighborhood. It’s easier to do this now that I am a full time pedestrian — no more car.
This is a Lomo-esque shot just a couple blocks from home. I have taken many photos of it. I like to explore the same places from a different point of view. This is an amazing building. It has been empty now for at least a couple years. I wonder when someone from Brooklyn will buy it and turn it into condos. So much Philadelphia property has been bought up by Brooklyn developers.

Happy to have my digital Lomo in my iPhone. This is a shot that I snapped after having to dig through my bike bag. I just can’t imagine the number of bicycles are on the roof of that van. Who put them up there and how? Where did they come from. Just crazy.
