I’m not sure why it’s been so long since I’ve walked there, but today I did and it was strangely overcast and humid when I started out. But it wasn’t long before the clouds parted and blue skies were revealed.

The Race Street Pier looks it’s best in late spring. The heat of summer hasn’t taken it’s toll on all the plants. Today the sailing club was out in numbers as the tacked back and forth on the incoming tide. Barges passed by slowly, the tugboats easing them along.

It’s a wonderful place to sit and think.

Ordered a pair of summer walking shoes. Black with white stitching.

Settled on these sweet skateboard shoes. Waiting for delivery.

If you don’t like it here go away.

My favorite deep sea diver. He holds my fortune.

I found this little guy years ago. His diver knife is missing but not lost. He holds my dearest of intentions in his belt and keeps it safe at all depths,

It’s wonderful to have such beautiful sites right outside one’s door.

We love Old City.

Enjoying a latte early on a Sunday morning.

A quiet walk down empty streets. The sun streaming through the leafless trees. Only my neighbors walking their dogs and enjoying a tourist free zone — for at least a little while. Then retreating to our homes for a quiet time as the tourists and weekenders descend.

Friday would have been Steve Job’s 57th birthday.

I was born the same year.
