I’ve embarked on a project this year.

A 365 day project. It will result in 365 draw­ings. They will be made on my iPhone. I’ll be post­ing at my art­log and you can see them there if you are inter­ested. I’ll try to write a bit about each of the draw­ings but some­times the posts will be wordless.

I stopped putting my art­work at this blog except on special occasions.

Post it notes con­tinue to work their way into dif­fer­ent parts of our lives. Their not so stick­i­ness encour­ages us to use them in all kinds of unex­pected ways. Their uni­for­mity is another excel­lent attribute. Even the straight-lined chal­lenged can line post-its up in a grid. Now that we aren’t con­fined to the Post-it yel­low the pos­si­bil­i­ties are mul­ti­plied — by the num­ber of new col­ors added.

Jackson Pollock application

What kind of draw­ing and paint­ing tools are avail­able for artists in a dig­i­tal space? I don’t know. Because some­times I actu­ally am under a rock. Why didn’t I know about this cool app so I could vote for it in the Webby’s? Some­times you just miss cool stuff until most peo­ple think it’s old and tired. Well, It’s new to me. Here is a cool app where you can get your inner Pol­lock out.

I spent hours play­ing with this soft­ware toy. You prob­a­bly will too.
