An Old City fireplug.
Why is it that almost every fireplug I walk past in Old City is missing parts? I’ve been walking these blocks repeatedly. This unpredictable thought has me looking at them all again.

That’s just the situation.
Jersey farm stand.
A stop at the farm stand yielded very little. The weather has held back the strawberries. sigh. But there were some good tomatoes and summer squash.
Unfurled in Old City
On my morning walk about the neighborhood the wind began to pick up and I rushed several blocks home attempting to outrun the impending storm. As I wandered down one of the smaller streets I can upon this Original Colonies flag taken by the wind. I stopped and snapped it while unfurled. A second later the wind took a rest and the flag was again pulled earthward by gravity.
